Nika von Gertson's puppies are so cute and so different looking, it's hard to believe they came from the same litter. But we rescued mom, who is a shepherd mix, from the shelter when she was already pregnant and the pups were born in one of our foster homes. Although we don't know who daddy was, we see many breeds in these pups, such as lab, malamute, shepherd, retriever, bernese mountain dog and who knows what else. The biggest puppy is 15 pounds, and the smallest is 8 pounds at 8 weeks of age. The puppies are very well socialized and are in a foster home with kids, a small dog and a cat. Some of the pups love playing with the resident cat, it's funny to watch them paw each other. The adoption fee for each puppy is $400 (includes spay/neuter, up to date shots and microchip) to help their friends still waiting at the shelter to be rescued.
